Take up units PK
Take up units (console type) are designed for winding –unwinding of cables to wooden and metallic reels with flange diameter 300-2500 mm. Take up units, as well as pay offs, can be used as an integral part of technological production lines and independently. Using these take ups, a produced cable can be winded to technological or transport reels; winding of cables can be made for quality control and repairs, unwinding of used cable for its further disposal can be performed.

Take ups have control system that includes:
· frequency asynchronous electric drive of reel allows to adjust speed of winding, unwinding in range of speed from 0 to maximum;
· frequency asynchronous electric drive of cable layer allows to adjust a pitch laying with possible manual correction;
· metering instruments of length and speed of received cable;
· control cabinet with protection and other electric equipment.
The unit is equipped with a hydraulic or screw reel lifter, screw mechanism of horizontal movement with driving and driven pintle.
On request of a customer, the take up can be equipped with a brake drum and belt brake; clamping and lifting mechanism can be equipped with geared motor and pump station with electric drive.
