Cables with armoured sheath
Description
The cables are used by operations in wells with aggressive environment when strength of the standard logging cables is insufficient. Our company produces reinforced cables since 2004 with use of galvanized stainless steel wire to increase durability of the cable. Sheath of the cable is made of helix wires winded with 20-50% overlap and filled with polymer material. The wires are enforcement of polymer material of the sheath.

Advantage of cables with reinforced sheath:
1) corrosion resistance, mechanical strength and resistance to aggressive environment are increased;
2) axial strength of the cable is increased;
3) prevention of wire’s breaking in helix winding and appearance of “lanterns”;
4) reduced wear of seals;
5) possibility to reduce breaking force because of reduced specific gravity.
